Data Entry and Saving

To enter data or edit cells values:

The changed values are marked with bold font. The formatting can be overlaid by the other formatting.

On viewing a ready data entry form it is available to save changed parameter values in table area using custom settings.

To finish the data entry:

If data control has been set up, and the On Changing Data option has been selected, entered incorrect values will be highlighted.

When a data entry form is opened for view or edit, cell values calculated by means of connected calculation algorithm are displayed as changed data if it has not been saved before. When values are changed in the cells used in formulas, new values are calculated, if the calculation algorithm is connected for edit, and calculated values are again displayed as changed data.

NOTE. To run data recalculation, select the Combine Queries on Calculation checkbox on the General tab of the Parameters dialog box. Recalculation is executed if modified data is input data for another table area, which data is calculated using the algorithm executed on modification. If the checkbox is deselected, data is recalculated only in one table area on the current data entry form sheet. Other table areas will not be recalculated.

To make changes to the data entry form, save changes by clicking the Save Changes button.:

If changed data save lock of table area with applied control was set, then on entering incorrect values the information message indicating that entered data is to be modified will be displayed.:

If data was changed but was not saved, it is prompted to save data on saving, copying, refreshing, changing parameter values, closing, entering data during approval of data entry form; transposing and editing a table area. If changed data save lock of table area with applied control was set, then the warning indicating than changes will not be saved because do not respect control setting appears. If the operation is agreed, the changed data will be reset and the operation will be applied. When operation is canceled, the changed data remains in table area.

To undo changes, click the Undo Changes button on the Home ribbon tab.

To populate a table area with data, you can use clipboard.

If data is entered or edited in the form during process steps execution:

  1. Save data.

  2. Finish the step by clicking the Finish button.

When data entry or editing is finished, follow the step if required:
