Building Report

To build a report, follow the steps:

NOTE. To speed up finding and executing commands, one can use menu item search.

  1. Set up toolbar.

  2. Set up report parameters.

  3. Add a new sheet.

  4. Select a report data source.

  5. Create a data slice.

  6. Visualize data on report sheet.

  7. Add interactive controls for report contents control.

  8. Insert objects.

  9. Set up report formatting.

  10. Set up report event handlers.

  11. Create a report copy.

After executing the operations save changes in the regular report using the Save button in the main menu. Saving a new report is identical to creating a copy.

If report data has been changed, it is prompted to save changed data to data source on saving the report.
