Toolbar Settings: Reports

By default, the toolbar contains system tabs and buttons for building and setting up report:

The toolbar can be collapsed to save the screen space. When the toolbar is collapsed, only tab names are displayed.

To collapse or restore the toolbar, click the Collapse/ Expand button on the toolbar.

If some buttons do not fit the screen, they are hidden. To work with hidden buttons, click the Show button on the toolbar, and the window with buttons opens.

To navigate the window, use the scrollbar or the mouse wheel with held down SHIFT key.

Select the Set Up Toolbar item in the toolbar's context menu.

It is available only in the Show Hidden Elements mode.

To add a tab:

Select the toolbar tab in the list.
Select the Add > Tab item in the button's drop-down menu. The Tab Settings dialog box opens:

Set tab name.

After executing the operations the tab is added after the selected tab. If the tab was not selected, or several tabs were selected, the tab is added to the end of the list of tabs.

The tabs that do not contain buttons remain hidden until at least one button is added.

Custom buttons can be added only to custom tabs.

To add a custom button:

Select the toolbar tab in the list.
Select the button, after which a new button should be placed. If this is the first button added to the tab, skip this step.
Select the Add > Custom Button item in the button's drop-down menu. The Custom Button Settings dialog box opens:

After executing the operations the custom button is added after the selected button or as the first on the tab. If the button was not selected, or several buttons were selected, the custom button is added to the end of the list on the selected tab.

To create logical groups on tabs, add separators.

Separators can be added only for custom tabs.

To add a toolbar separator:

Select the toolbar button in the list.
Select the Add > Separator item in the button's context menu.

After executing the operations the separator is added after the selected element. If the button was not selected, or several buttons were selected or a tab was selected, the separator is added to the end of the list.

It is available for custom tabs and buttons.

To edit a toolbar element:

Select toolbar element in the list.
Execute one of the operations:

Click the Edit button.
Select the Edit item in the selected element's context menu.

To change position of the selected toolbar element, drag the element or use the Move Up and Move Down buttons.

Tabs are moved together with the added buttons.

Separators can be moved only inside the tabs.

It is available for tabs and buttons.

Hidden elements that are displayed only in the Show Hidden Elements mode are marked with the icon.

To set up displaying of toolbar elements, execute the operations:

Select one or several toolbar elements using the CTRL key.
Execute one of the operations:

To display an element only in the Show Hidden Elements mode:

Click the Hide button.
Select the Hide item in the selected element's context menu.

To display an element in all modes:

Click the Show button.
Select the Show item in the selected element's context menu.

When the tab is hidden, the buttons on the tab are also hidden from the toolbar.

The buttons with hidden names on the toolbar are displayed only as icons.

The buttons with hidden names are marked with the icon.

To set up displaying of button names, execute the following operations:

Select one or several buttons using the CTRL key.
Execute one of the operations:

To display only icon on the toolbar, click the Hide Name button.
To display button name on the toolbar, click the Show Name button.

It is available for custom tabs, buttons, and separators.

To delete a toolbar element:

Select toolbar element in the list.
Click the Remove button.

Tabs are deleted together with buttons. If a system button is move to the tab, the button should be moved to another tab to be able to delete this tab.

To reset options, select the Reset Options item in the toolbar's context menu. After this, all system and custom buttons are shown on the toolbar in the default order, and custom groups and separators added by the user are deleted.
