Setting Up Dictionary Attributes Editor

The attribute editor is used to display dictionary attribute values in data entry form cells.

The dictionary attribute editor is applied to create combined forms and cards. Cards are applied to edit and add records to registry.

A data entry form is presented as a card, each box of which is a dictionary attribute editor Registry of Health Care Organizations Executing PCR Tests:

To set up dictionary attribute editor, click the

Add Attribute button on the toolbar. The Attribute dialog box opens:

Create a dictionary attribute editor by clicking the Add Attribute button on the toolbar.

Determine editor properties:

Dictionary. Determine the dictionary, to which the attribute will be linked. To do this, select the dictionary in the drop-down list or start entering dictionary name in the search string.
Attribute. Determine the attribute, which value will be displayed in the cell. To do this, select a dictionary attribute in the drop-down list.

NOTE. If for attribute editor, the linked attribute of parametric dictionary is used, the data entry form considers parameters settings in link.

Default Value. Determine the value, which will be assigned to each new element on creation by default.
Parameter. To dynamically change attribute value, select the dictionary attribute linked to the form parameter in the drop-down list.
Read-Only. To prohibit attribute change, select the checkbox. On adding a new element, the default element will not be saved to dictionary.
Save Default Value on Creating Element. To save default value on adding a new element to dictionary, select the checkbox. It is available after the Read-Only checkbox is selected.

The advanced filter setup is described below.

Finish the selection by clicking the Apply button.

To set up values sent to the attribute from linked dictionary, use advanced filter.

If the selected attribute is link with other dictionaries, the Advanced Attribute button becomes active.

To open the filter dialog box, click the Advanced Attribute button. The Edit Attribute Filter dialog box opens:

To create a filter, click the Add button and set parameters:

Attribute. Select an attribute of the specified dictionary in the drop-down list. To filter dictionary elements by linked dictionry attributes, select in the list of available linked attributes the attribute of the dictionary selected on link creation with attribute of the specified dictionary. Linked attributes are displayed at the first nested level and represent the tree of available linked attributes.

NOTE. If dictionary attribute contains multiple values, then on checking filtering condition all attribute values will be compared. If at least one attribute value meets the condition, the dictionary element will automatically meet the condition.

Condition. Set filtering condition. Available options: equal, not equal, greater, less, greater or equal, less or equal, included, not included.
Type. Select filter type. Available options: value, attribute.
Ignore Empty. Attribute empty values will be ignored if the checkbox is selected. It is available only for the Attribute type.
Value. It depends on the selected attribute and type:

If the Value type is selected, the specific value corresponding to the data type of attribute is specified in the field.
If the Attribute type is selected, select the attribute in the box using the drop-down list that looks like a tree of available attributes.
If the attribute is linked and the Value type is selected, the box has a pop-up menu with the linked dictionary available values.
If attribute is linked and the Attribute type is selected, the box has a pop-up menu with a tree of available attributes of linked dictionary.

Do Not Filter from Empty Values. Attribute values are not filtered if value is empty if the checkbox is selected.

To delete the selected filter, click the Delete button.

To save the filter, click the Apply button.
