The tool supports interface of Foresight Analytics Platform 9 or earlier.
The panel is used to edit main parameters of a modeling problem.
Metamodel. Determine a metamodel, which chain will be calculated.
Problem Type. Select a problem type to be calculated:
Forecasting Problem. It consists in calculating all models in each scenario point separately: first, all models are calculated in the first scenario point, then all models are calculated in the second scenario point, and so on. Thus, pointwise mode of calculation is used.
Controlling Problem. It is under development.
Optimal Control Problem. It consists in searching for such values of controlling variables, at which the condition of criterion function value optimization is satisfied. First, you should execute integration with LPSolve.
Criterion Problem. It consists in searching for such values of controlling variables, at which criterion function value will maximally correspond to the set trajectory. First, you should execute integration with LPSolve.
Imitation Problem. It is under development.
Forward-Looking Forecasting. It consists in calculating the models containing variables with lags not only in the previous time periods (t-lag), but also in the succeeding ones (t+lag).
Transformation Problem. It consists in calculating models consequently by all scenario points: firstly, the first model is calculated by all scenario points, then the second model is calculated by all scenario points, and so on. Thus, series mode calculation mode is used.
Custom Optimization Problem. It consists in optimization problem calculation by user algorithm. It can be used to integrate with various optimization packages.
Formula Generation Problem. It consists in converting modeling formulas into formulas for calculation in report table. The task is applied to connect external transformation chains to reporting tools and it is used by the Interactive Data Entry Forms extension.
Multithreaded Transformation Problem. It consists in transformation problem calculation that will be adapted to multithreading in the next versions of Foresight Analytics Platform. It enables to increase calculation speed.
NOTE. The multithreaded transformation problem supports only calculation of multidimensional cycles and models of determinate equation and matrix aggregation.
