The tool supports interface of Foresight Analytics Platform 9 or earlier.
The appearance of the Periods panel varies depending on the type of modeling problem:
Forecasting problem and transformation problem
Sample Period. Set sample period to be used by models when calculating a modeling series. A specific sample period, which differs from the sample period of the entire problem, can be specified for models.
Forecasting Period. Set forecasting period used by models when calculating a forecast and the upper and lower confidence limits of the series.
NOTE. A modeling problem is calculated if modeling problem calculation periods do not overlap limits of periods of modeling container data source that contains the problem.
Optimal control problem and forward-looking forecasting problem
Frequency. Set the frequency, by which a problem should be calculated. The format of the setting sample and forecasting periods depends on the selected frequency. For example, if the annual frequency is selected, only year should be specified; if the semi-annual frequency is selected, half-year and year should be specified, and so on.
Other parameters of this panel are the same as panel parameters for forecasting and transformation problems.
