Cache Control

NOTE. Cache control is available only for resources with specified caching parameters and only for the administrator with the specified access option Access to the Administration Section or for the administrator with the Read Cache privilege for one of the access options: Access to the Environments Section, Access to Environment, Access to Project.

The working area displays existing caches grouped by resources. Cache is created automatically when the user addresses specific data or manually via the administrator console.

To add data source resource cache:

Make sure that data source has resources.
Click the Add Cache on the Cache tab.

After executing the operation cache creation parameters are displayed:

Set the parameters:

Resource. Select the existing data source resource with caching in the drop-down list.

NOTE. Cache can be created only for table resources with scalar input parameters.

Credentials. Select appropriate credentials in the drop-down list, under which access to data source is executed.

Click the Next button.

After executing the operation resources parameters are displayed that are determined on import. Parameter values with the Unavailable mobile application state will contain specified values by default:

Set parameter values, for which cache is created. Deselect the checkbox next to the parameter and set default value in the Value box. If the checkbox is selected, values remain unchanged.
Click the Save button.

After executing the operation a cache instance is added for the resource by parameters to the resource caches list.

To filter caches list:

Click the Add Filter button.
Select filtering option in the drop-down list:

Data Sources. Select the existing data source in the drop-down list.
Resources. Select the existing data source resource in the drop-down list.
Credentials. Select the existing data source account in the drop-down list.

NOTE. Multiple selection of filtering options is available.

After executing the operations the caches list is filtered according to the specified conditions.

To delete resource cache, click the Delete button next to resource name. After executing the operation it is asked to confirm cache deletion. If the answer is yes, resource cache is deleted from the list of all caches.

To delete all outdated resource cache versions, which are not longer valid, click the Delete Outdated button. After executing the operation the Successful green button is displayed, and outdated resource cache versions are deleted from the list of all caches.

The outdated cache versions can also be deleted by schedule.

After the caches list by resources is created, one can work with each cache by parameters and add a schedule to update cache, delete outdated cache, and delete transactions history.

Features of Caching Foresight Data Source Resource

When adding cache of Foresight data source resource, creating cache by parameters depends on input parameters on resource import. If input parameters are table ones, cache by parameters can be created only using API requests. Table input parameters are attributes and dimension elements selection.
