Import of Data Source Resources

A data source contains resources that are a limited set of table data. Data can be sent to a mobile device using API requests.

After executing the operation the list of resources is displayed on the Resources tab:

NOTE. Along with resource import, a Postgres Pro/PostgreSQL data source can be used to create a resource using the Create Resource button.

After executing the operations the data source resource is imported and can be used in the project.

Resource structure contains parameters of table or scalar type and changes with time.

NOTE. A structure can be requested only for table resource.

To refresh resource structure on a mobile platform server, click the Request Structure button next to resource name.

After executing the operation the structure obtained from a data source is compared with the current resource structure on the server. If structures match, the Successful green button is displayed. If structures mismatch, resource parameters are refreshed in the mobile platform, and after this the Successful green button is displayed. If the data source is unavailable or incorrect resource parameters are entered, the Unsuccessful red button is displayed.

A synchronization schedule can also be set for resource structure refresh.

To edit data source resource:

Click the resource name.
Change settings specified on resource import.
Click the Save button.

After executing the operations the data source resource is edited and refreshed in the resources list.

To delete resource, click the Delete button next to resource name.

After executing the operation it is asked to confirm resource deletion. If the answer is yes, the resource is deleted from the list.
