A data model is a set of tables from different data sources connected to each other using links determined in the system. A data model uses visual elements: table circles and SQL queries with links on the working area, as well as a model preview table.
To create a data model:
In the object navigator:
Execute one of the operations:
Click the Create main menu button.
Select the Create item in the context menu of the list of objects.
Select the Data Model item on the New Object panel that opens.
In the Information Panel tool select the Add Model > Create New item in the drop-down menu of the Actions button in the upper part of the side panel.
NOTE. Click the Create Data Model button in the central part of the side panel if no data source was added.
After a data model is created, build it.

Tables on the source panel, objects on the working area and corresponding fields in the preview table are marked with the same colors.
Before creating a data model set up the working area if required.
