Setting Up the SVG Map Visualizer

The SVG Map visualizer is used to solve indicator analysis tasks based on their geographic position.

To add a visualizer to the working area:

  1. Make sure that the requirements for working with maps are met.

  2. Select the SVG Map visualizer:

If the default map is not set in repository settings , the Select Topobase dialog box opens for selecting the required repository object.

  1. Add or select data source in the Sources drop-down list in the upper part of the control panel.

NOTE. A standard cube should be selected as a data source for an SVG map.

All operations given in the Adding Visualizers and Working with Them section are available for the SVG Map visualizer.

To create an SVG map, use the fields:

Markers

Observation objects

Timeline

Filter

Object color

Marker color

To set up a map, use the side panel.

Open the side panel

Available map settings:

Set up title

General settings

Territory labels

Tooltips

Markers

Color

Set up synchronization

Operations with Maps

Select map areas

Map zoom

Move in map

View information about map points

Drilldown and drillup

Set up SQL filter
