Getting Started with the Information Panel Tool

To create a new information panel in the object navigator click the Create button in the main menu and select the object type on the New Object side panel. The information panel opens in the edit mode.

To open a ready information panel in the object navigator execute one of the operations:

Select the Open item in the information panel's context menu.
Select the Open in a New Tab item in the information panel's context menu.
Select the Open in a New Window item in the information panel's context menu.
Double-click the information panel.
Select the information panel and press the ENTER key.

The selected information panel opens by default in the view mode.

Main menu. It contains buttons and commands used for working with information panel.
Title bar. It contains the edit box for entering information panel name.
Side panel. It contains a drop-down list with all information panel data sources and the following for the selected data source: dimensions, facts, table calculated fields of information panel and visualizer field settings. It is available for when working with information panel in the edit mode.
Settings panel. It contains settings for displaying and exporting visualizers and slides for their placement. It is available when working with information panel in the edit mode.
Working area. It contains data analysis tools.

Operations with Information Panel

To rename an information panel, rename the data model on the title bar.

To toggle between information panel work modes:

Click the Edit button in the main menu to open the information panel in the edit mode.
Click the View button in the main menu to open the information panel in the view mode.
