About Foresight Analytics Platform Features

The term "feature" is used to identify a Foresight Analytics Platform tool or functionality that are licensed.

Working with Foresight Analytics Platform requires valid licenses. If there is no valid license, operation calls are not available for the corresponding Foresight Analytics Platform tool in the desktop and web applications.

Some tools of Foresight Analytics Platform contain operations, executing of which may require licenses of other tools: the user will be able to directly or indirectly address from functionality A to functionality B. This addressing is successful if the user has a valid license for the B tool functionality, otherwise a license restriction message is displayed. For example, in the Dashboards tool on building dashboard and on connecting a ready regular report to is, it is checked if there is a valid reports license.

PP_Adm	Administration. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Security Manager tool. NOTE. When opening the security manager, a repository connection is created that is why the AnalyticsPlatform feature is needed at the same time as PP_Adm.
PP_DashboardViewer	Dashboards. View. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Dashboards tool in the mode of viewing ready dashboards.	PP_OLAP PP_ReportViewer PP_TimeSeries PP_Stat PP_Modeling NOTE. The PP_Modeling additional feature is used to display calculated elements and filter data via formula.
PP_DashboardEditor	Dashboards. Edit. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Dashboards tool in the mode of creating and editing dashboards.	PP_OLAP PP_ReportViewer PP_TimeSeries PP_Stat PP_Modeling NOTE. The PP_Modeling additional feature is used to work with tables, to add calculated elements and set up data filtering via formula.
PP_ETL	ETL. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the ETL Task tool.
PP_OLAP	Analytical Queries (OLAP). The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Analytical Queries (OLAP) tool.	PP_Stat PP_Modeling NOTE. The PP_Modeling additional feature is used to work with tables, to add calculated elements and set up data filtering via formula.
PP_ReportViewer	Reporting. View. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Reports tool and the Interactive Data Entry Forms extension in the view mode.	PP_Stat PP_Modeling NOTE. PP_Modeling	Modeling and Forecasting. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Modeling and Forecasting tool and the Calculation Algorithms extension.	PP_Stat PP_OLAP PP_ReportEditor NOTE. The additional features PP_OLAP and PP_ReportEditor are used to create a calculate algorithms.
PP_Scheduler	Task Scheduler. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Task Scheduler tool and the Business Process Management extension. NOTE. When working with the task scheduler, a repository connection is created that is why besides the PP_Scheduler feature the system requires one concurrent session for the AnalyticsPlatform feature. When executing business processes on server, one requires several AnalyticsPlatform features depending on the specified number of executors.	To work with the extension: PP_ReportViewer. PP_Modeling. PP_Stat	Statistic. The feature enables the user to work with functions of the Data Mining tool and with the Stat and MathFin system assemblies. The following interfaces and methods do not require this feature for work: All IStatistics methods (except for Forecast, LinEst, LogEst). ISmCensus2. All IMissingData missing data treatment methods. All IFinance methods (except for Irr, XIrr, YieldF, RedemptionYield). All IMath methods (except for MInverse). ISmAutoCorrelation. ISmPairCorrelation.
PP_DevEnv	Development Environment. The feature enables the user to work with development environment.	Executing some operations from code requires features for other tools. For example, the PP_OLAP valid license is checked on executing express report editing operation from code.
PP_ExcelAddin	Excel Add-In. The feature enables the user to work with Foresight Analytics Platform Microsoft Excel add-in. NOTE. When working with the add-in, a repository connection is created that is why the AnalyticsPlatform feature is needed at the same time as PP_ExcelAddin.	PP_OLAP PP_TimeSeries PP_Stat
PP_WordAddin	Word Add-In. The feature enables the user to work with Foresight Analytics Platform Microsoft Word add-in. NOTE.
