Table Structure

A data table includes several main elements:

Data table structure includes the following elements:

Corner. The top left cell of the table that enables the user to show dimension names in rows and columns.

Sidehead. The table element that shows names of dimension elements located in rows.

Heading. The table element that shows names of dimension elements located in columns.

Data. The table element that consists of data cells.

Main Operations with Table

To add a table to report sheet:

Select data source on the Source side panel. Drag the data source to the working area. The top left border of the selected cell will be the left top border of a table. Select the chart type in the drop-down menu of the Table item of the popup menu. A table is added to the working area together with a slice.
Put the cursor to the cell that will be the top left table corner and:

Select the Add > Table item in the data source's context menu on the Source panel. A new data slice will be created for the data source, based on which a table will be created on a report sheet.
Select the Add > Table item in the data slice's context menu on the Sources panel.

After executing one of the operations:

A table is added to the sheet.
A table with the Table N default name is added on the Sources side panel, where N - table number.
