Working with Objects on Report Sheet

The following operations are available when working with objects of any type on the report sheet:

To add an object to the report sheet, select the required object type on the Insert ribbon tab.

To select multiple objects, hold down the CTRL key.

To group objects, select several objects by clicking them one after another with the CTRL key held down, and select:

The Group > Group item in the Arrange group of the Object.Format ribbon tab.
The Group > Group context menu item of the selected objects.

After executing one of the operations the selected objects become grouped.

To align or distribute the selected objects:

Select the Align item in the Arrange group of the Object.Format ribbon tab.
Select the Align/Distribute context menu item of the object group.

To ungroup the selected group of objects, select:

The Group > Ungroup item in the Arrange group of the Object. Format ribbon tab.
The Group > Ungroup context menu item of the selected objects.

After executing one of the operations the selected objects are ungrouped.

The following operations are available when working with any type of objects and a group of objects:

On working with objects the user can apply standard methods of working with clipboard.

Multiple selected objects can be copied and inserted into a report sheet in the Reports tool. This option is unavailable for the objects that have activation mode "Activate On Report Opening".

Respective objects' positions in the copied group remain unchanged when they are pasted. A group of copied objects in inserted into the position of the selected cell range (position of the upper left corner of the inserted area corresponds to the upper left corner of an active cell).

To rotate the selected object:

Select the Display or Rotate item in the Arrange group of the Object.Format ribbon tab, and select the required object rotation option:

Rotate 90o Right. The object is rotated 90o clockwise.
Rotate 90oLeft. The object is rotated 90o counterclockwise.

To select another rotation option, select the Other Rotation Parameters option. The Object Properties dialog box opens. Select rotation angle in the appropriate box.

Select the Object Properties context menu item. In the dialog box select rotation angle in the appropriate box.
Manually (not available when a group of objects is selected).

To flip the selected object, select the Display or Rotate item in the Arrange group of the Object.Format ribbon tab, and select the required flip method:

Flip vertical.
Flip horizontal.

The following properties can be set up for any type of object:

Object identifier.
Tooltip.
Object shift method.
Object activation method.
Printing object.
Object transparency.
Object size.

To move an object/group of objects horizontally or vertically, hold down the SHIFT key.

To set up object layout order on the report sheet:

Select the Order item in the object's context menu and select the required layout option.
Select the required layout option in the Arrange group of the Object.Format ribbon tab.

The following options are available when the user sets up object layout order on the report sheet:

Bring Forward. It changes object layout order on the report sheet bringing it one step forward.
Send Backward. It changes object layout order on the report sheet moving it one step backward.
Bring to Front. It changes object layout order on the report sheet bringing it to front.
Send to Back. It changes object layout order on the report sheet sending it to back.

To place an object within the specified cell range:

Select the Object Layout item in the object's context menu and select the required layout option.
Click the Move Object button on the Layout group of the Object.Format ribbon tab and select the required object layout method.

The following options are available on selecting object position on the report sheet:

Fit to Selected Range. The selected object is inserted in the selected cell range.
Choose Range to Fit. A dialog box opens, in which a cell range of the current report can be specified.
