Aligning Objects in Group

To work with the tool in Foresight Analytics Platform 10, use the new interface.

If two or more objects are selected in the report sheet, the user can select alignment and mutual positions of these objects, as well as select their size.

Objects Alignment and Arrangement

To align and arrange objects on the report sheet, execute one of the following operations:

Selected objects are aligned to the left edge relative to the leftmost object:

Selected objects are aligned to the center. The midpoint is calculated from the rightmost and leftmost objects and their dimensions:

Selected objects are aligned to the right edge relative to the rightmost object:

Selected objects are aligned to the top edge relative to the topmost object:

Selected objects are aligned to the middle. The midpoint is calculated from the topmost and bottommost objects and their dimensions:

Selected objects are aligned to the bottom edge relative to the bottommost object:

Selected objects are distributed horizontally with identical distances between objects. The distance is calculated from the positions of the rightmost and leftmost objects and objects' size:

Selected objects are distributed vertically with identical distances between objects. The distance is calculated from the positions of the topmost and bottommost objects and objects' size:

Adjusting Objects by Size

To adjust the objects on the report sheet by their size, select the Size the context menu item and select required alignment method:

Width of all the selected objects will match the width of the narrowest object in the group:

Width of all the selected objects will match the width of the widest object in the group:

Height of all selected objects is changed to the height of the lowest object in the group:

Height of all selected objects is changed to the height of the highest object in the group:
