To work with the tool in Foresight Analytics Platform 10, use the new interface.
To set up a map used in the regular report, execute the following sequence of operations:
Before working with a map Make sure that the requirement for working with a map are met.
Prepare data sources to be used for the map: from a data slice or from a sheet.
NOTE. A map can use several data sources simultaneously.
When using slice data in the report, create a slice that contains territory dimension as the first dimension in rows.
When using sheet data, create a data table that contains a territory area on the sheet. In the area with territories use data, which corresponds to topobase values, for example, territory name.
NOTE. Territories data in the table and topobase can be compared using the territory info.
Add a map to report sheet.
Set up attributes and map properties.

Add map internal and external legends.
Add territory info.
To set up a map, which data source is table visualizer, use the side panel. A detailed description of available functions of these maps is given in the Setting Up Map dialog box.
