Graphs

1. Make sure that the results panel is displayed.

2. Select output variable or one of the equation links.

3. Go to the Graphs tab on the results panel.

NOTE. The option is available only for equation graphs.

To change graph composition:

1. Click the Composition button at the top right corner of the tab.

2. The menu containing all available series opens. Each series has a checkbox. To show or hide a series on the graph, select or deselect the checkbox corresponding to the series.

The graph is rebuilt according to the determined parameters.

The following series are available:

• Source Series. Source data of the output variable.

• Modeling Series. Modeled values.

• Residuals. The difference between input and output data.

• Forecast. Forecasting values calculated with the equation.

• Upper Confidence Limit. The upper confidence limit values for forecasting values.

• Lower Confidence Limit. The lower confidence limit values for forecasting values.

• Equation Factors. Group of series containing equation factors. Factors are not included into the graph by default.

• B1. Prior adjusted series or source series.

• D10. Seasonal component.

• D11. Seasonally adjusted series.

• D12. Trend-cycle component.

• D13. Irregular component.

NOTE. Series set depends on the equation type.

To view a point value, hover the mouse cursor on the point. The value is displayed as a tooltip.

NOTE. The option is available if displaying of tooltips is set up.

NOTE. Values can be edited if this variable is not used as an output variable in any equation.

Editing order:

1. Enable data editing. Click the Enable Editing button.

2. Select edit mode and change data. To select the mode, use the drop-down menu of the Enable Editing button:

1. • By Points. Each point of the variable is edited separately.
     Select a variable in the legend or in the chart using the mouse. The graph highlights all the points available for editing. Hover the cursor over a variable point (the cursor changes to a double-headed arrow), hold down the mouse button and drag the point to the new position. The current value of the point is displayed next to the point.

   • Drawing. Several variable points are edited in a single move.
     Select a variable in the legend using the mouse. The graph highlights all the points available for editing. Hover the cursor over a variable point (variable background by value axis is highlighted), hold down the mouse button and drag the point to a new position. Editing of neighboring points can be continued without releasing the button. The current value of the edited point is displayed next to the point.

To save edited data, click the Save Changes button.

Disable data editing mode before hiding or showing a series. Release the Enable Editing button.

To hide or show a series, click the series name in the legend.

If the visible legend area cannot show all the elements, legend scroll buttons become available: and . Use them to show hidden legend elements. An information about the legend page in the following format is displayed between buttons: <current page number>/<total number of pages>.

Examples of a legend containing hidden elements:

To show or hide forecasting values calculated by the equation, use the Show Forecast button on the View ribbon tab.

To change graph type, click the Type button on the Chart ribbon tab. The menu opens that contains icons of various chart types. Pointing the mouse cursor to the icon shows a tooltip with name of the chart type. Select the required chart type.

Graph type can also be changed on the Chart tab in the Results Panel group of side panel tabs.

To automatically build corridors on the equation chart in the web application, click the Chart Corridors button on the Chart ribbon tab. The corridor is added between the forecasting series and confidence limits.

NOTE. The corridor is shown if the forecasting series and confidence limit series are present on the chart.
