A level level line is a line in the chart plot area that is perpendicular to the specified axis.
Level lines can be set up for all chart types except for pie and doughnut charts.
NOTE. The chart plot area grid also consists of level lines. To set up main level lines in the plot area, use the View tab in the Axis Format dialog box in the desktop application and the Gridlines group of settings on the Value Axis tab of the side panel in the desktop and web applications.

To set up level line, use the Level Lines side panel tab.
NOTE. The Level Lines side panel tab can be used only to work with the level lines perpendicular to the value axis (Y).
