Foresight Analytics Platform Applications

In Linux OS, the fpBIServer software package includes the repository manager - the RepoManager console application and the RepoManager_start.sh script. The application is started using the script.

Service applications included in the fpBIServer software package in Linux OS:

• Scheduler. It starts the task scheduler to execute container tasks.

• PP.Util. It is used to execute various additional actions during BI server setup. The application can be started by means of the PP.Util_start.sh script included in the product.

• echoid. It is used to get computer locking code and it is necessary during license request.

• lsinit. It is used to initialize the licensing subsystem if licenses are time-limited.

• UpdateManager. It is used to install update of repository objects. The application can be started by means of the UpdateManager_start.sh script included in the product.

• axis2_http_server. A test BI server version that is used to debug and diagnose problems.

IMPORTANT. Run of axis2_http_server.exe in production conditions is prohibited.

Service applications included in the FP10Full, FP10BIServer, FP10Standard software packages in Windows OS:

• Scheduler.exe. It starts the task scheduler to execute container tasks.

• Cfg.exe. It is used to update Foresight Analytics Platform, after which the user logs in to the system. Update is executed if the source contains a later assembly of Foresight Analytics Platform, otherwise login is executed. The standard login dialog box opens after the update.

NOTE. When FP10Full distribution file version is installed, the login is executed via the Studio.exe startup file, otherwise login is executed via the PP.exe file.

• Tuner.exe. It is used to automatically set up repository parameters.

• PP.Util.exe. It is used to execute various additional actions during BI server setup.

• echoid.exe. It is used to get computer locking code and it is necessary during license request.
