Software Package of Foresight Analytics Platform
Foresight Analytics Platform includes distribution files for 64-bit Windows OS and Linux OS operating systems.
Distribution file name can contain number of delivered version and build in the format: _<version number>.<build number>. For example:
The FP10Full_x64_10.4.62.exe distribution file installs the full package of Foresight Analytics Platform, version 10.4, build 62, for Windows OS.
The distribution file foresight-fp10.x-biserver_10.4.62-0~astra~1.7_amd64.deb installs BI server of Foresight Analytics Platform version 10.4, build 62, for Astra Linux.
NOTE. To get distribution files of Foresight Analytics Platform, contact technical support by sending a request to support@fsight.ru or use technical support services, which are available after registration at the website.
Reg-free COM registration
There are distribution files of Foresight Analytics Platform that use the Reg-free COM registration technology. This technology allows for installing Foresight Analytics Platform without registering object classes and types libraries in the registry. It is recommended to use those installers on selecting configuration.
Technology advantages:
If there are prerequisites, Foresight Analytics Platform can be started without installation.
Multiple builds of the same release can be used at the same workstation.
NOTE. It is not possible to use the builds, installed using the Reg-free COM registration distribution files and distribution files not using this technology within one release.
Windows OS Distribution Files
Foresight Analytics Platform includes distribution files for Windows OS. To ensure correct platform work, bitness of Foresight Analytics Platform and Windows OS must match.
The following distribution files are included in the software package:

Designations:
- Reg-free COM registration is used.
- Reg-free COM registration is not used.
Before installing any distribution files with Interop assemblies one should install the desktop application of Foresight Analytics Platform web application.
Along with distribution files of add-ins installation, the developer tools are installed by means of the FP10DevTools.exe distribution file.
NOTE. When distribution files that do not use Reg-free COM registration technology are used, only one software package (FP10Full, FP10Standard, FP10BIServer) of one release can be installed on one computer.

Foresight Analytics Platform includes distribution files for 64-bit Linux operating systems.

It is located in the Java_PPWeb folder. TIP. To install web application back end, it is recommended to use the distribution file foresight-fp10.x-webserver*.deb or foresight-fp10.x-webserver*.rpm. The manual installation is used as an alternative option. |
