Select language of installationAdd-ins are the components that enable the user to integrate one application into another.
In Foresight Analytics Platform the following Microsoft Office add-ins are available:
Foresight Add-in for Word. Microsoft Word add-in. Installer: Foresight Add-in for Word_x64.exe.
Foresight Add-in for Excel. Microsoft Excel add-in. Installer: Foresight Add-in for Excel_x64.exe.
Foresight Add-in for PowerPoint. Microsoft PowerPoint add-in. Installer: Foresight Add-in for PowerPoint_x64.exe.
Before installing add-ins, make sure that:
System requirements to client environment and requirements to operating system settings are met.
The desktop application of Foresight Analytics Platform is installed on the computer, add-in version and bitness should match with the version and bitness of the installed desktop application.
The bitness of the add-in and the installed desktop application of Foresight Analytics Platform match with the bitness of installed Microsoft Office applications.
The patch Windows6.1-KB2533623-x64.msu (for 64-bit Windows 7) is installed on the computer.
The patch can be downloaded at: http://support.microsoft.com/KB/2533623.
The installation should be executed under the user who has local computer administrator permissions.
The add-in installation process is identical. While running, the program checks for other installed versions of the add-in:
If another version is installed at the computer, the user is prompted to update the add-in.
If no another version is found, the add-in installation, containing the following steps, starts:
