Select installation languageDevelopment tools is a set of Interop assemblies of Foresight Analytics Platform registered in Global Assembly Cache (GAC). Assemblies should be registered in the global cache to be able to use Foresight Analytics Platform components in user applications based on .NET platform.
Development tools can be installed using the FP10DevTools.exe distribution file. Along with registration of assemblies in the global cache, this distribution file also writes to the PATH system variable the path to the folder with installed Foresight Analytics Platform.
To install the distribution file, the number of development tool assembly must match the number of Foresight Analytics Platform.
While running, the installation program checks for other installed versions of development tool assemblies:
If another version is installed on the computer, the user is prompted to update development tools.
If no another version is found, the add-in installation, containing the following steps, starts:
