Foresight Analytics Platform Activation via RMS

To activate Foresight Analytics Platform via RMS:

If a network license is used to provide web application work in Linux OS:

  1. Install and set up license server.

  2. If required, install the licensing service to speed up work with license server.

  3. Place the obtained license file lservrc without extension to the folder with installed license server.

  4. Create the LSFORCEHOST/LSHOST system variable and specify license server name.

If a temporary stand-alone license is used to provide web work in Linux OS:

  1. Place the obtained license file lservrc without extension to the folder with installed BI server: /opt/foresight/fp10.x-biserver/bin.

  2. Create the LSFORCEHOST/LSHOST system variable and set it to NO-NET.

If a network license is used to provide web application and desktop application work in Windows OS:

  1. Install and set up license server.

  2. If required, install the licensing service to speed up work with license server.

  3. Place the obtained license file lservrc without extension to the folder with installed license server.

  4. Activate the license using one of the methods:

If a temporary stand-alone license is used to provide web application work and a stand-alone license is used to provide desktop application work in Windows OS:

  1. Place the obtained license file lservrc without extension in any place.

  2. Activate the license using one of the methods:

TIP. Starting from the version 10.8, it is recommended to use Guardant. In the newer versions of Foresight Analytics Platform RMS support will be discontinued.

NOTE. Application system security is available only if Foresight Analytics Platform was activated via RMS without installation of licensing service.
