System Requirements

System requirements should be met by database server, license server, application server, BI server, web server, and client computers. All software can be deployed both on physical servers and in virtual environments. Deploying applications based on Foresight Analytics Platform is available in Windows OS and Linux OS.

Web application Desktop application

To work with the web application, create a system using Foresight Analytics Platform, which assumes presence of:

Database server, on which one of supported DBMS is installed.
License server based on Guardant or RMS that is used for product activation by means of network license and to control the number of simultaneously working users.
Application server that is used for scheduled tasks execution.
BI server, on which the PP.SOM web service is installed.
Web server, on which web application back end for Linux OS or Windows OS is installed.
Client computer connected to the network, in which the web server is located.

NOTE. BI server, application server, and web server can be located on the same physical server. When executing resource-intensive tasks, locate application server and BI server on different physical servers.

To work with the desktop application, create a system using Foresight Analytics Platform, which assumes presence of:

The tables contain system requirements for software for database server, license server, application server, BI server, web server, and client stations.

Linux OS Windows OS

Software requirements in Linux OS:

	Software
Database server	Back end of supported DBMS: PostgreSQL/Postgres Pro, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. To determine configurations of operating systems and processors (RISC systems) for database server, refer to the DBMS documentation.
License server	To get system requirements: Guardant. Contact Guardant technical support at hotline@guardant.ru. RMS. See Sentinel RMS documentation.
BI server/Application server	Front end of supported DBMS: PostgreSQL/Postgres Pro, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
	Apache HTTP Server 2.4 web server with the worker module (Apache2).
	The Mesa 3D graphic library for the visualizers:Tree Map, Bubble Tree, Bubble Chart and Map. Installation is required if hardware does not support OpenGL technology.
Web server	Apache HTTP Server 2.4 web server (Apache2). If required, any web server that enables the user to get static files can be used.
Client computers	Three latest browser versions are supported: Yandex.Browser. Chromium-Gost. To set up the web application, see the Setting Up Web Application Work in Chromium-Gost Browser section. It is relevant only for Astra Linux SE 1.7. Chromium. Google Chrome. Mozilla Firefox.

Software requirements in Windows OS:

	Graphic libraries for the Tree Map, Bubble Tree, Bubble Chart and Map visualizers: DirectX 11. To enable correct work with the library in Windows Server 2012, install the KB4019990 update that allows for the use of the D3DCompile_47.dll library that is required to display 3D graphics. OpenGL 3.1.
Web server	Internet Information Services 8.0, 8.5, 10 web server (IIS). If required, any web server that enables the user to get static files can be used.
Client computers	Web application	Desktop application
	Three latest browser versions are supported: Yandex.Browser. Chromium-Gost. Chromium. Google Chrome. Mozilla Firefox.	Front end of supported DBMS: PostgreSQL/Postgres Pro, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or built-in SQLite DBMS.
		The latest version of the driver for the installed video adapter.
