System Requirements

When a system is being created using Foresight Analytics Platform, observe hardware and software requirements applied to system elements. All software can be deployed both on physical servers and in virtual environments. Deploying applications based on Foresight Analytics Platform is available in Linux OS/Windows OS. For details about supported versions of Linux OS/Windows OS and operating system settings requirements see the Supported Versions of Linux OS/Windows OS, Requirements for Operating System Settings sections.

Hardware Requirements

For primary assessment of the required hardware, contact technical support by sending a request to support@fsight.ru or use technical support services, which are available after registration at the website.

NOTE. The web application is not designed to be used on mobile devices.

Software Requirements

The table contains requirements to software for system elements:

  Software
Database server The supported DBMS back end: PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
To determine configurations of operating systems and processors (RISC systems) for database server, refer to the DBMS documentation.
License server To get system requirements, contact the Guardant technical support by sending an email to hotline@guardant.ru.

BI Server

Task Scheduler

InMemory MOLAP Server

 The supported DBMS front end: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server.

Web server:

  • In Linux OS: Apache HTTP Server 2.4 with the worker (Apache2) module.

  • In Windows OS: Internet Information Services 8.0, 8.5, 10 (IIS).

Graphic libraries for the visualizers: Tree Map, Bubble Tree, Bubble Chart and Map:

  • In Linux OS: Mesa 3D. Library installation is required if hardware does not support OpenGL technology.

  • In Windows OS:

    • DirectX 11.

    • OpenGL 3.1.
Web Application Back End

Web server:

  • In Linux OS: Apache HTTP Server 2.4 (Apache2).

  • In Windows OS: Internet Information Services 8.0, 8.5, 10 (IIS).

If required, any web server that enables the user to get static files can be used.
Client computers

Three latest browser versions are supported:

IMPORTANT. The task scheduler must be located separately from the BI server.
