If several dimensions are displayed in the sidehead/heading, use merge and tuck settings for a more compact table area sidehead/heading layout.
Merge and tuck of dimensions in the sidehead/heading is set up in the Dimensions area in the Layout group of parameters for the sidehead/heading.
Available dimension merging options for tables with several dimensions:
Full Merge. All sidehead/heading dimensions are merged in one column/row.
Partial Merge. Only selected sidehead/heading dimensions are merged in one column/row.
NOTE. Partial merge is available if a table contains three or more dimensions in sidehead/heading.
Each option allows for element tucking.
Merge/unmerge dimensions in sidehead/heading
To merge elements of one dimensions with elements of another dimension, tuck dimensions. When tucking is used, the dimension element to be tucked will not be displayed in a separate string, and its values will be displayed in the dimension element string, to which tucking is executed.
NOTE. Only merged dimensions of table sidehead/heading can be tucked.
