Setting Up General Report Parameters

To set up general report parameters, go to the Settings tab of the Parameters dialog box.

If the Do not Ask for Confirmation when Closing a Modified Report checkbox is selected, on closing the report that contains pending changes, it is not prompted to save the report. All pending changes will be lost. The checkbox is deselected by default.

If the Do not Calculate Report on Open checkbox is selected, the report is not calculated on open; on changing a sheet cell value, only dependent cells are recalculated. The checkbox is deselected by default.

If the checkbox is selected, the report is opened faster for view and edit. The report always opens without refresh in the edit mode.

NOTE. Data editing in the table and relational data area is available only after report refresh.

The option is ignored if the value is set in the IMetabaseObjectParamValuesEx.StateOptions property:

If the StateOptions = 1 value is set, it is considered that the Do not Calculate Report on Open checkbox is selected.
If the StateOptions = 2 value is set, it is considered that the Do not Calculate Report on Open checkbox is not selected.

If the Show Paste Settings checkbox is selected, after the data is pasted from clipboard, the icon appears at the right bottom corner of the pasted cells that informs the user that data format is set.

In the After Pressing ENTER, Move Selection in Direction group in the drop-down list select direction of moving to the next cell after pressing the ENTER key.

Down.
Up.
Left.
Right.
No direction.

Determine general parameters of report formatting in the Formatting group:

Formatting Styles Collection. In the drop-down list select a styles table to be used to set common style formatting for reports. To remove a styles table, click the button next to the list.
Use Unified Hyperlink Formatting. Selecting the checkbox applies specified format to all hyperlinks in the report. When the checkbox is deselected, hyperlinks use default settings (underlined blue text) or the unique settings selected for the cell on the Font tab. To set up common format for hyperlinks, use a style editor component. For details about style editor, see the Setting Up Style section.
