To work with the tool in Foresight Analytics Platform 10, use the new interface.
The Reports tool supports pasting of data on copying from the following products:
Microsoft Office.
LibreOffice.
MyOffice
Google Sheets.
When clipboard contents is pasted to a regular report sheet, the Paste Options button appears in the right bottom corner from the pasted cells, which indicates whether the pasted data has proper formatting. Clicking the Paste Options button displays paste options:
Keep Source Formatting. Data is pasted using source formatting.
Paste Without Source Formatting. Data is pasted using the cell format, to which paste is executed.
NOTE. When data is pasted from MyOffice and Google Sheets, source formatting is not saved.
The paste options button is temporarily hidden:
On focusing other elements (for example, font, formula bar, and so on).
On opening a dialog box
On opening context menu.
On switching to cell edit mode for one of the pasted cells, provided that nothing was modified, and/or the user exited the edit mode using the ESC key.
The Paste Options button is fully hidden when:
Clipboard contents is changed (for example, data of another cell is copied).
The report is saved.
On switching to cell edit mode for any cell outside the paste range and exiting the edit mode, even if nothing was modified.
When the sheet state is changed (for example, a chart is inserted or the sheet is resized).
On pressing the ESC key after pasting data.
