To work with the tool in Foresight Analytics Platform 10, use the new interface.
Data is filtered before placing a relational data area to a report sheet. Filtering expression is set for the whole layout. If the current layout does not satisfy the filtering condition, the layout is not placed to the report sheet.
To set up filtering parameters in a relational data area, go to the Filtering tab of the Relational Data Area dialog box:
To enable data filter, select the Show Rows by Condition checkbox. Selecting the checkbox activates the Expression box.
Enter filtering condition in one of the following ways:
Manually. Enter a condition in the edit box.
Using the expression editor. To start expression editor, click the Open in Expression Editor button.
After the filter parameters are defined, the relational data area shows only data that meets the specified conditions.
