Custom functions and methods can be used to enhance regular report capabilities due to the use of custom calculation methods.
By default custom functions are not connected to the Reports tool. To connect custom functions, use the Methods tab in the Custom Metadata section of the Parameters dialog box. For details, see the Connecting Custom Functions article.
NOTE. Custom functions can be connected only in the desktop application.
Connected custom functions will be displayed in function wizard in the Custom Functions category, for example:
If custom function is parametric, determine function parameter values on the next function wizard step, for example:
As a result, custom function will be calculated. Calculation results will be displayed to the report sheet. If any errors occur on calculation, they will be also displayed to the report sheet.
