Picture

To add an object from an external source to a regular report sheet:

1. Select a cell or a cell range on a sheet.

2. Copy an object in an external source.

3. Paste the copied object using one of the methods:

• Press CTRL+V.

• Press SHIFT+INSERT.

• Select the Paste item in the Clipboard group of the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the Paste item in the cell or cell range context menu.

After executing the operations the object will be pasted as a PNG image to a regular report sheet from an external source. The top left corner of the image matches with the top left corner of the selected cell or cell range.

To auto resize the object to fit the picture size:

• Select the Source Size item in the picture's context menu.

• Click the Source Size button in the Zoom group of the Object.Picture ribbon tab.

To edit a picture, execute one of the following operations:

• Select the Edit item in the picture's context menu.

• Click the button in the Fixed Areas group of the Object. Picture ribbon tab.

The Image Editor dialog box opens. It is identical to the Fill tab (on selecting the Image fill type) in the Cell Format dialog box.

NOTE. On setting up fixed areas for a vector image in the Image Editor dialog box, the picture converts into a bitmap.

To enable picture zoom in the object:

• Select the Allow Zoom checkbox in the Zoom group of the Object.Picture ribbon tab.

• Open the picture's context menu and select the Stretch checkbox. Picture size remains unchanged regardless of whether the object is resized.

To zoom the object picture proportionally, enable zoom as described above, and select the following checkbox:

• Proportional in the picture's context menu.

• Lock Aspect Ratio in the Zoom group of the Object.Picture ribbon tab.

To disable picture zoom in the object:

• Deselect the Allow Zoom checkbox in the Zoom group of the Object.Picture ribbon tab.

• Open the picture's context menu and select the No Zoom checkbox.

Picture size remains unchanged regardless of whether the object is resized.

To replace a picture:

• Select the Edit item in the picture's context menu. In the dialog box that opens, click the Load button.

• Select the Load from File item in the picture's context menu.

• Select the Load from File item in the Picture group of the Object.Picture ribbon tab.

After executing one of the operations a standard file selection dialog box opens.

To save picture to an external file:

• Select the Edit item in the picture's context menu. In the dialog box that opens, click the Save button.

• Select the Save to File item in the picture's context menu.

• Select the Save to File item in the Picture group of the Object.Picture ribbon tab.

After executing one of the operations a standard dialog box opens, where the user can select a folder to save file.
