Setting Up Equation Parameters (Web Application)

To set up equation parameters, use side panel tabs. Tabs depend on the equation type.

To get a tooltip about parameter purpose, click the

button next to the parameter. A tooltip appears. For example:

Regression models:

Linear regression. Default.
Non-linear regression.
ARIMA.
Error correction model.

Smoothing models:

Trend.
Hodrick-Prescott filter.
Baxter-King filter.
X11. The X11 method is supported only in Windows.
Exponential smoothing.

Transformation methods:

Interpolation.
Collapse.

Determinate equation.
R methods:

Linear regression.
Non-linear regression.
Hodrick-Prescott filter.
Baxter-King filter.
Exponential smoothing.
ARIMA.
Custom code.

Setting up of R methods is similar to that of the similarly named methods of the Modeling and Forecasting tool.
