General Legend Formatting Settings

To set up width and height of legend icons, set the value in the Icon Width and Icon Height value editors in the Series Icons group.

To display legend shadow, select the Display Shadow checkbox.

Then set up shadow offset along the category axis (X) and offset along the value axis (Y) using the value editors dX and dY respectively. In the drop-down palette select the required shadow color or select new color in the advanced palette opened by clicking the Other button.

If required, set up shadow transparency.

To synchronize series icon line width and marker size in legend with series formatting in the plot area, select the Use Series Formatting checkbox in the Series Icons group.

NOTE. The Use Series Formatting option is available only for legends of the charts that contain scatter and line series.

This setting is available if at least one data series is plotted on secondary axis.

To show for each series the axis, on which it is plotted, select the Show Axis Marker Next to the Series Icons checkbox. After selecting the checkbox the legend displays axes icons:

The checkbox is deselected by default, and axis markers are not displayed in the legend.

NOTE. Series position along the secondary axis is specified in the Data Series Format dialog box.
