Working with Time Series

The mode is used to work with data obtained from the following data sources:

Standard cubes.
Time series database.
Workbooks.

Working with the add-in in the time series analysis mode includes the following steps:

Get data.
Set up a data table.
If required, add single values or dimension elements from cubes to the cells on the workbook sheet.
If required, add and set up:

Time series and calculated series.
Map.

Set up graphical data representation.
If required, execute data validation.
If required, execute data mining.
Save report or its copy.

All operations in time series data analysis mode are executed using the following interface elements:

Ribbon tabs: Foresight, Table, Chart, Calculations, and Advanced Analytics.
Panels: Side Panel, Series Tree, Results Panel.
