To set up parameters and administrate business processes, use the utility with the BP_UTIL identifier that is included in the Business Processes component.
NOTE. Only users from the Administrators group can set up parameters on Parameters and Scheduler pages. To work with all utility sections including the Debug, Service Tasks and Administration sections, it is required to have permissions of the ADMIN who is the schema owner.
After the utility is started, the Setting Up Parameters and Administrating Business Processes dialog box opens:
Determine settings on pages:
Parameters. Parameters of e-mail notifications sending, monitoring parameters and additional parameters are set.
Scheduler. Type of business processes execution is determined and BI service URL is specified.
Debug. Functionality of monitoring clear, processes regeneration and tasks container initialization is specified.
Service Tasks. Service tasks to update processes metadata and resave authorization objects are created.
Administration. Operations of adding access permissions to business processes, recreating group of users, removing the whole process history.
After business processes parameters and administration are set up, go to set up role model.
