Managing Object Displaying

To show objects as small icons:

• Click the Small Icons button on the ribbon.

• Select the View > Small Icons item in the context menu of the objects list.

The object view is changed in the objects list:

To show objects as large icons:

• Click the Large Icons button on the ribbon.

• Select the View > Large Icons item in the context menu of the objects list.

The object view is changed in the objects list:

To show objects as extra large icons:

1. Make sure that the Enable Extra Large Icons without Considering Object Access Permissions checkbox is selected in the security manager.

2. Set display of large icons:

• Click the Extra Large Icons button on the ribbon.

• Select the View > Extra Large Icons button in the context menu of the objects list.

After executing the operations, the display type will be changed in the object list only for the objects which were created using theDashboards, Analytical Queries (OLAP), Reports, Time Series Analysis tools:

The icon contains a preview that displays a plot area of report's active sheet at the moment of saving. The icon is refreshed after each report saving.

NOTE. If display type of large icons were selected before selecting a checkbox in security manager, the icon will not contain a preview till the next object saving.

To display objects as a list:

• Click the List button on the ribbon.

• Select the View > List item in the context menu of the objects list.

NOTE. Objects can be displayed as a list only in the desktop application.

To display objects as a list:

• Click the Table button on the ribbon.

• Select the View > Table item in the context menu of the objects list.

The object view is changed in the objects list:

The table contains additional information about objects.

Setting Up Table Columns

To align table columns by contents size, click the Resize Columns to Fit Contents button.

To set up view of table columns:

• Click the Set Up Columns button.

• Select the View > Set Up Columns item in the context menu of the free space.

After one of the operations is executed, the Specify Columns to Display dialog box opens:

To show or hide table columns, select or deselect checkboxes next to the corresponding column headers.

NOTE. The checkbox next to the Name column cannot be deselected.

To move along column headers, use Up and Down buttons.

Use the Select All and Deselect buttons to select or deselect all elements.

The Comment column is used to show comments to the repository objects.

To create a comment:

1. Select the Properties item in the object's context menu.

2. In the Object Properties dialog box that opens go to the Object Type tab.

3. Enter a comment text into the corresponding box.

The created comment is displayed in the Comment column.

To show information about whether a repository object is cached, select the Cached checkbox. If an object is cached, the Yes value is shown in the column.
