The tool supports interface of Foresight Analytics Platform 9 or earlier.

Adding Access Permissions

Adding access permissions is available in the desktop application.

To add access permissions to update:

Make sure that all users and groups of users for whom access permissions or objects with access permissions will be updated are contained in the updated repository.
Add a repository object or special object.
Select the following in the update option list of the Update List object:

Object Only/Object. Only repository objects, special objects and their contents are transferred.
Access Permissions Only. The access permissions to the repository and special objects are transferred.
Object with Access Permissions. The access permissions to the repository objects and special objects and objects themselves are transferred.

NOTE. If on transferring access permissions it is required to update them, select the Grant Access Permissions at the DBMS Level checkbox in the update options.

On separating administrator roles and depending on the selected method of access control there may be differences on working with update elements and also in the parameters control of the object update.
