Closed Surfaces

To work with the tool in Foresight Analytics Platform 10, use the new interface.

Closed Surfaces

To set up closed surfaces parameters, go to the Closed Surfaces tab of the 3D Scene Options dialog box:

NOTE. The tab is available in the 3D Scene Options dialog box, if a Closed Surface series is created in data sources.

The selected checkboxes that contain closed surface names show these closed surfaces in the scene. All surfaces are displayed in the scene by default.

To set up a closed surface selected in the list, define the following parameters:

If the Surface checkbox is selected, surface fill is enabled. When the checkbox is selected, the following settings can be determined in the group:

Color. Select fill color in the drop-down color palette.
Transparency. Select fill transparency in percents.

If the Grid checkbox is selected, surface grid is shown. When the checkbox is selected, the following settings can be determined in the group:

Line Type. Select the Solid Line or Dotted Line type for the gridline.
Line Width. Select line width. To set custom line width, select the Custom item in the drop-down list. The line width dialog box opens.

NOTE. Line width can be specified in different measurement units but the edit box always shows the value in points (1/72 inch).

Line Color. Select line color in the drop-down color palette.
Transparency. Set line transparency in percents.

If the Display Vertices checkbox is selected, vertices are shown in the scene.

Set up format of vertices captions. To do this, click the button. A dialog box for setting up vertices captions format opens. This dialog box is identical to the Font tab of the Axis Format dialog box.
