Setting Up the Time Series Analysis Tool

Tool interfaces in the web application and in the desktop application are identical, and differences in functionality are given in appropiate commments.

To set up parameters of the Time Series Analysis tool, and general parameters of Foresight Analytics Platform, use the Parameters dialog box.

Select the Tools > Parameters item in the workbook's main menu.

Use the Workbook group of tabs.

Determine workbook settings using the following tabs:

General. Select the styles table, which styles will be used to format data views in the current workbook.
Manage Parameters. Set workbook parameters.

Use the Time Series Analysis group of tabs.

NOTE. The settings are available only in the desktop application, if the Parameters dialog box is opened using the Tools > Parameters main menu item.

On the Interface tab set shortcut keys for quick access to the items of the main menu and the ribbon.

Determine platform settings using the following tabs:

External Modules. Set program modules expanding capabilities of Foresight Analytics Platform.
Update. Set update parameters for version of Foresight Analytics Platform software products.
Language Settings. Select language of interface and help system of Foresight Analytics Platform.
Connection. Determine proxy server settings to provide access of Foresight Analytics Platform to the internet.
Help. Set type of help system used by Foresight Analytics Platform.
