Various help systems can be set for Foresight Analytics Platform:
Local help:
Help in Linux OS is delivered for the web application via contacting technical support by sending a request to support@fsight.ru or technical support services that are available after registration at the website.
Help in Windows OS is delivered together with software package of desktop application as a set of CHM files.
Online help.
Selecting help system type in the web application and in the desktop application differs.
By default, uses online help URL: https://help.fsight.ru/en.
When local help is installed in Linux OS, the URL is used: http://<web server>:<port number>/fp10.x/help/ru/help.htm.
If required, to change help system URL, add the helpUrl field to the config.json configuration file.
To select a help system type select the Tools > Parameters main menu item of the object navigator. The Parameters dialog box opens:
Select one of the radio buttons:
Use Local Help. The local help version delivered with Foresight Analytics Platform.
Use Online Help. The web version of the help will be used. In the URL box determine path to the server folder (or local disk folder) where online help is stored: https://help.fsight.ru/en/. Make sure that slash is put at the end of the URL to ensure correct online help work.
NOTE. Clicking the Apply button matches the specified URL and the Foresight Analytics Platform will be used. If the specified URL does not match, the help type will not change.
To apply selected help type, click the Apply button.
The specified help system URL for online help or local help open on:
Selecting the Help item on the object navigator's side panel in the web application.
Selecting the Help > Contents item in the object navigator's main menu in the desktop application.
Pressing the F1 key.
Opening the class inspector.
The language used in the help is determined in language parameters of Foresight Analytics Platform.
