Starting Distribution File Using Parameters

Determines whether to set shortcuts of Foresight Analytics Platform. Shortcuts are created by default that is why the parameter is used only to disable shortcut creation.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /v"INSTALLSHORTCUTS="False""

Using this command installs Foresight Analytics Platform without shortcuts.

The parameter determines installation wizard language of Foresight Analytics Platform. If the parameter is used, no language selection dialog box opens on installing Foresight Analytics Platform. The parameter use does not affect platform interface language.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /L1049

where

1049: language code (Russian).

The installation wizard will use Russian, and the language selection dialog box will not open.

Codes of available languages are given below.

Determines whether each time Foresight Analytics Platform starts the integrity of executable files is checked, and file contents is compared with a standard. Integrity check is disabled by default.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /v"PP_CHECK_CONTROL_SUMS=1"

Using the command installs Foresight Analytics Platform and enables platform integrity check.

Determines whether each time Foresight Analytics Platform starts the Check Control Sums Every Time Platform Runs option is displayed.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /v"PP_CONTROL_SUMS_VISIBLE=0"

If the command is used, the Check Control Sums Every Time Platform Runs checkbox is hidden. The changes affect custom installation.

Determines whether a license manager shortcut must be created.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /v"PPLICENSESHORTCUT=0"

Using this command installs Foresight Analytics Platform, but the license manager shortcut is not created.

The parameter determines platform interface language.

NOTE. This setting is overruled with setting up interface language of Foresight Analytics Platform for the current user.

The parameter does not affect the installation wizard language.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /v"PPPRODUCTLANGUAGE=1049"

where:

1049: language code (Russian).

The following codes are available:

• 1049. Russian.

• 1033. English.

• 1034. Spanish.

• 1040. Italian.

• 1087. Kazakh.

• 2052. Chinese (simplified).

• 1031. German.

• 1058. Ukrainian.

• 1036. French.

• 2070. Portuguese.

• 1025. Arabic.

• 14337. Arabic (United Arab Emirates).

Determines whether all previous versions are deleted on installation:

• PPUPDATEACTION=1. Previously installed versions are deleted. Default value.

• PPUPDATEACTION <> 1. Previously installed versions are kept.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /v”PPUPDATEACTION=2”

Using this command installs Foresight Analytics Platform, previous installed versions are kept.

The specified clone_wait parameter informs the process started the installer whether it must wait for the installation to finish.

Syntax

FP9Full.exe /clone_wait

"Foresight Add-in for Excel.exe" /clone_wait

If the commands are used, the Foresight Analytics Platform desktop application and the Microsoft Excel add-in are consequently installed.
