Setting Up Process Parameters

Process parameters are used to start process for execution with specified parameter values, for example: organization structure units, plan versions, currencies.

To set up process parameters, use the Process Parameters and Settings dialog box.

To open the dialog box:

Click the Settings and Parameters button in the Execution group on the Process ribbon tab of the Set Up Business Process dialog box.
Select the Settings and Parameters context menu item of:

Working area of business process setup dialog box.
Root element with process name on the dialog box side panel.

The dialog box contains two areas: General Settings and Process Parameters. Double-click the selected process parameter opens the tree with dictionary selection to the selected element.

Select the manager who is responsible for the entire process in the drop-down users list of the security manager of Foresight Analytics Platform.

If the parameter is not set, the box is highlighted with pink color that means that the box must be filled.

The selected checkbox enables the users from embedded administrator group start the process, finish it and reject steps, even if they are not owners of the process and/or steps.

The selected checkbox provides execution of resourceintensive steps Calculation and Fore Method Call on BI server.

Select a dictionary in the list of dictionaries and click the button.

The selected dictionary will be displayed in the list of parameters.

Execute one of the possible operations:

Double-click the parameter name.
Select the Rename item in the parameter's context menu.
Press F2.

Name of the parameter is turned into the edit mode. Include the required changes and press the ENTER key.

Execute one of the possible operations:

Click the button.
Select the Delete item in the parameter's context menu.
Press the DELETE key.

Before deleting it will be requested to confirm operation execution.
