Viewing Object Text

Viewing text is available for objects of the following classes: Form, Unit, Query, Procedure, and DBMS Command.

Object text cannot be edited. Window size and location selected by the user are saved to the next window openings.

To open window, select the object on the Update panel:

Select the Open context menu item.
Press the ENTER key.
Double-click the object.

To close dialog box:

Click the Close button.
Press the ESC key.

To select all text:

Press CTRL+A.
Select the Select All context menu item.

To copy the selected text to the clipboard:

Press CTRL+C or CTRL+INSERT.
Select the Copy context menu item.

To search in text:

Click the Search button.
Press CTRL+F.

The Search dialog box opens:

The Find What box is used to specify the text to be searched for. The following search criteria can be set in the dialog box:

Match Case. Selecting the checkbox determines whether the case of the text entered the Find What box is relevant.
Match Whole Word. If the checkbox is selected, only the text that is not included in other words is to be searched for.

Clicking the Find button starts search for the text entered in the Find What box. If the entered text is found, it is highlighted in the preview window.
