To work with the tool in Foresight Analytics Platform 10, use the new interface.
You can edit pasted data when inserting data from the clipboard. To do it, select the Paste Special item:
In the context menu of the cell.
In the drop-down menu of the Paste button on the Home ribbon tab.
The Paste Special dialog box opens:
Define the following parameters in this dialog box:
Paste from Clipboard. Determine parameters of paste special:
Cell Values. By default the checkbox is selected and cell values are pasted. When the checkbox is deselected, cell values are not pasted.
Cell Formulas. By default the checkbox is selected and formulas from the cells are pasted. When the checkbox is deselected, cell formulas are not pasted.
Cell Formatting. By default the checkbox is selected and cell formatting is pasted. When the checkbox is deselected, cell formatting is not pasted.
Comments. By default the checkbox is deselected and comments are not pasted. When the checkbox is selected, cell comment are not pasted.
Skip Empty Cells. If the pasted data contains empty values, on selecting the checkbox the data is not pasted. Old data remains in the cells, to which empty values should have been inserted.
Transpose Data. When the checkbox is selected, inserted data is transposed, that is, rows are shown in columns and vice versa.
NOTE. There are some features for pasting data with specific formatting from clipboard to the regular report sheet.
