Getting Started with the Task Scheduler Tool

To get started with the tool, create a new or open the existing scheduled tasks container.

To create a new scheduled tasks container in the object navigator execute one of the operations:

In the web application click the Create button in the main menu and select the object type on the New Object side panel.
In the desktop application:

Select the New Object > Other > Task Container item in the Create group on the Home tab.
Select the Create > Other > Task Container item in the object navigator's context menu.

To open a ready scheduled tasks container for view in the object navigator execute one of the operations:

Select the object and click the Open button in the Open group on the Home ribbon tab.
Select the Open item in the object's context menu.
Double-click the object.

NOTE. In Linux OS the task scheduler is used as the Scheduler console application.

Main menu. It contains a list of commands that are used to execute various operations with tasks and scheduled tasks container.
Working area. It is used to work with tasks.

Toolbar. It contains commands and controls that are used to execute various operations over tasks and scheduled tasks container.
Working area. It is used to work with tasks.
Status bar. It displays process and result of task execution and it duplicates menu item names.

Startup parameters. It contains task scheduler startup time and parameters, with which task scheduler was started.
List of executed containers. It contains a list of containers executed by task scheduler.
Control panel. It is used to check if there is a new version of configuration file and to close task scheduler window.
