Tool interfaces in the web application and in the desktop application are identical, and differences in functionality are given in appropriate comments.
In a dashboard, reports are used to display the information from sources without the ability to analyze and set up displayed data. Available report types:
Regular Report. It displays regular report data.
Dashboard. It displays dashboard data.
Express Report. It displays express report data.
Time Series. It displays workbook data.
Report elements are formatted the same way they are set in a data source.
NOTE. By default, one can create only blocks of the Regular Report type in the web application and Regular Report and Dashboard type in the desktop application. Creating of other block types that are used to work with reports requires advanced settings. These settings do not affect the availability of reports in the saved dashboards. For details see the How to Enable Creating of Blocks Used to Work with Reports? section.
All operations with objects given in the Basic Operations with Dashboard Objects and Setting Up Sketch Element Appearance sections are available for reports. The following are also available for reports:
