Update Features

Take into account the following features on automatic update in Windows OS:

On updating within the same release, value of the Check Control Sums Every Time Foresight Analytics Platform Runs checkbox is specified at the first installation of this release. On updating between releases, the specified value of the checkbox is not inherited. To change checkbox value, on updating use the CheckControlSums attribute in the Cfgconfig.xml file.
If on updating within the same release the update source contains MSI installers of previously installed help systems, they are also updated. To view the information about installed help systems, open Windows Control Panel and go to the Programs > Programs and Components section.
In the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Foresight\Foresight Analytics Platform\10.4\AutoUpdate\Profiles\10.2 for 32-bit Windows OS or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Foresight\Foresight Analytics Platform\10.0\AutoUpdate\Profiles\10.4 for 64-bit Windows OS after updating, the following keys are created:

CurrentVersion = 10.4.25098 - version of Foresight Analytics Platform.
InstallDir = C:\Program Files\Foresight\ - folder with installed Foresight Analytics Platform.
Package = FP10Full.msi - package of installed Foresight Analytics Platform. For further updates the source requires the specified package.
Dest = C:\Program Files\Foresight\Analytics Platform 10.x\Studio.exe - executable file name on the Cfg.exe startup (PP.exe for Standard, Studio.exe for Full).
