Linux Repository Manager

The repository manager is the RepoManager console utility with a specific set of parameters with full and short names. The application is not included in the BI server distribution and is located in the /opt/foresight/fp10.x-biserver/bin folder.

To work with the repository manager in Linux OS:

Install BI server and web application back end.
Prepare back end of DBMS in use.

To start the application, use the RepoManager_start.sh script with the following parameters:

./RepoManager_start.sh --operation=Value [options]

./RepoManager_start.sh -oValue [options]

Where:

--operation or -o. Executed operation. Mandatory parameter.
Value. Parameter value.
[options]. Additional parameters depending on the executed operation.

The application allows for executing the following operations:

Create a repository.
Update repository.
Install extensions to the repository.
