Working with Analysis Results

Tool interfaces in the web application and in the desktop application are identical, and differences in functionality are given in appropriate comments.

After data mining is executed, it is available to view and execute various operations on analysis results.

In the Web Application

The web application enables only viewing analysis results as a regular report. Analysis results are opened on a separate tab that is similar to the tab with analysis results in the desktop application:

To save analysis results, select the Report > Save As main menu item. Specify the path, name and unique identifier of the saved report in the opened dialog box. If the identifier is not specified, it is created automatically on saving.

IMPORTANT. An identifier may only include Latin letters, numbers and underscore character, and it must not start with a number.

To export analysis results to external formats, select the Report > Export main menu item and select the format:

Excel 97-2003 workbook (*.xls).
Excel Workbook (*.xlsx).
PDF Document (*.pdf).
Document in RTF format (*.rtf).
PowerPoint presentation (*.pptx).
Web page (*.html).
Web page, single file archive (*.mht).
Image (*.emf).

To print analysis results, select the Report > Print main menu item. A report preview and print dialog box opens. Page appearance and using depends on the browser in use.

To publish analysis results to social networks, select the Report > Share main menu item and select the social network:

LiveJournal.
Google+.

In the Desktop Application

Click the Save button to save analysis results. In the opened menu select the option to save the analysis results:

To a New Report. Results are saved to a new regular report.
To a New Sheet. This option is used only for regular reports. Results are saved to new report sheets.
File. Results are saved to the file in the *.xls format with analysis results.
Source. The option is available only for the Pattern Substitution analysis method in all tools except for Dashboards. Data that was obtained after substitution, is uploaded into the data source. Before saving it is asked to confirm the executed operation. The formatting set for changed data is applied to the loaded data. Note that data is only unloaded, saving of data must be executed by the user.

NOTE. Data unloading to the source is available if the user has appropriate permissions. Loading of data to the source that is a regular report is available if the regular report is opened in the edit mode.
