Working with Data Table

Table rotation enables the user to swap row and column headers.

To rotate, click the Rotate Table button in the View group of the Table ribbon tab.

On rotating a table:

• Fixed dimensions do not change their position.

• Row and column dimensions are swapped.

The order of dimensions inside each group remains unchanged.

Filtering enables the user to select a subset of table data and display only the data that correspond to specified conditions.

To set up data filtering:

1. Click the lower part of the Filter button in the View group on the Table ribbon tab.

2. Use the drop-down menu of the button to select the checkbox next to filter conditions (filters):

• Do not Filter. If the checkbox is selected, data filtering is disabled.

• Hide Empty Columns. Columns and rows that contain no data are hidden.

• Hide All Empty Columns before Start/After End Periods. Only the empty columns located to the left and to the right of the time series are hidden.

TIP. To quickly set up filtering, use the Filtering group on the View tab on the side panel.

To change data display period, click the start date or the end date in the Display Period group on the Table tab with the main mouse button. The Data Display Period dialog box opens:

Date of the period end must be later than the start date of the period. If the entered start date is greater than the end date, the value of the period end is set to the date of the period start.

To set up conditional data formatting, use the Conditional Formatting tab in the Format group of tabs on the side panel.

When working with table data the operations of advanced analytics are available.

To set up table formatting, use the tabs in the Format group of tabs on the side panel:

• View. Setting up common formatting parameters.

• Data Area. Setting up table data formatting.

• Headings. Setting up table heading, sidehead and corner formatting.

The user can set up the format of displayed values for table data. To select the required format, use the buttons in the Number Format group on the Table ribbon tab.

To show a calendar in the reverse order, that is, from later dates to earlier ones, click Reverse Calendar button located in the Display Period group on the Table ribbon tab.
