Supported Versions of Linux OS

BI server and security server can be installed to one of the 64-bit versions of Linux OS:

Linux OS family version Distribution file version
Astra Linux Distribution files SE 1.4 and 1.5 (smolensk) in the loading mode with generic-core
ALT Linux Distribution files of the 7 and 8 versions
Debian Distribution files of the 8 and 9 versions
Ubuntu Distribution files of 14.04 LTS and 16.04 LTS versions
CentOS Distribution files of the 6 and 7 versions
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Distribution files of the 6 and 7 versions
Zircon 36C Distribution file 36C release r1
Sintez-OS.WS Distribution file of the 6.4 version

The correct performance requires current libraries from system repositories.

Astra Linux, ALT Linux, Debian, Ubuntu:

NOTE. The Apache HTTP Server specific build with the MPM coworker module is delivered for Astra Linux.

CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Zircon 36C, Sintez-ОS.РС:

NOTE. Qt versions of 4.8.x and PostgreSQL Client 9.x are also required for Zircon 36C and Sintez-OS.WS.

BI server work requires a graphic display: physical or virtual xvfb. The recommended setup option is graphics output via the virtual xvfb display, the alternative option is via the physical display X-server (X.org) with access permissions for display and user session.

The advantage of a virtual display is that it does not require installing a graphic environment, unifies systems, does not require user authorization in OS and access to his X session.

NOTE. BI server and security server in the specified Linux OS versions are checked and function according to the existing list of constraints. Foresight Analytics Platform can work in most of Linux OS distribution files, but additional settings may be required. To resolve the issues related to working with various Linux distributions, contact technical support by sending an email to support@fsight.ru.
Platform working in OS with Linux PaX kernel is not supported.
